4022
STEREO STETHO
4022 Stereo Stetho
The 4022 is an independently controlled, dual channel, stereo amplifier. The LEFT and RIGHT inputs accept transducers with impedances ranging from 500 to 50,000 ohms. The stereo output accepts headset ranging in impedance from 8 to 800 Ohms.

TO OPERATE:  Insert the plug from a transducer into either the LEFT of RIGHT IN jack.   Insert a stereo headset plug into the STEREO HEADSET jack. BE CAREFUL!  Don't get the right plug into the wrong jack.

A single 9 volt Alkaline battery powers the 4022 and normal battery life is approximately 100 hours of ON time.

Treat this piece of equipment as you would any other sophisticated electronic equipment.  Do not expose to temperatures in excess of 120 degrees F for long periods of time.

To replace the battery, loosen the two cover screws one or two turns counterclockwise and, with the lettered side down, carefully remove the back cover. Remove the old battery and replace with a fresh Alkaline battery.  Replace the cover being careful not to pinch the battery leads and tighten the screws (do not over-tighten).

As with any piece of electronic equipment, remove the batteries during periods of prolonged storage.
